Fishermen to stage protest on River Tees over sea life deaths
They are due to display banners, flares and flags in protest of the crisis, which was first reported in October 2021, and have issued a stark warning declaring “if the sea dies we died”. Activists from local organisations including Surfers Against Sewage, Ocean Rebellion and British Divers Marine Life Rescue are due to attend.

Joint Operation to Tackle Off Road Bikes & Rural Crime in Cleveland and North Yorkshire
As a result of the day of action, the rider of a motorbike was reported for licence offences, another rider of a motorbike was issued with a section 59 notice as the bike was reportedly associated with anti-social behaviour, motorists were stopped for speeding and warnings were given to people regarding fishing offences by the Environment Agency.
