White van men arrested over batteries stolen from Devizes farm

Three men have been arrested over items stolen from a farm near Devizes. The alleged theft took place at around 12.15pm yesterday (June 12).

Wiltshire Police were called to reports that three suspects in a small white van had stolen at least three batteries from a barn. The van was then tracked down and stopped on the A361 heading towards Marlborough at around 12.45pm.

Three men, two aged in their 40s from Swindon, and one in his 50s, from Northampton, were found in the van. Police also found around 15 batteries and other items believed to be stolen.
