Farmers in Wales have been left emotionally and financially 'drained' after describing the pain of having livestock killed by 'speeding' cars.
Commoners working in the Gower Peninsula said more than 200 animals - including cows, sheep and horses - had been killed by vehicles since 2021.
Sian Rees, a farmer from Llanrhidian, said she had lost 40 cows on the roads alone since 2021.
"We have to go out in the night and deal with situations that normal people should not have to deal with," Ms Rees added.
The Gower Commons Action Group has been set up by villagers and farmers in the Gower Peninsula in response to the 'devastating' deaths of animals.
The group said motorists are forgetting the risks to themselves by not reducing their speed on common land with livestock.
The group said more than 100 animals had been killed in collisions with vehicles in 2021, 44 in 2022 and 63 in 2023.
