Two men arrested after £50k in stolen property and £10k cash seized by police

Two men have been arrested after more than £50,000 in stolen property and £10,000 in cash was found by police.
On Thursday officers in the south of the county along with colleagues from Merseyside police carried out a cross-border operation focusing on rural crime.
During the operation they found two men in possession with a large quantity of stolen goods.
The men were arrested for that offence along with money laundering, handling stolen goods and abstracting electricty.
One vehicle, more than £50,000 in stolen property and £10,000 in cash were seized.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Today South RTF with our friends at Merseyside Police have conducted another cross-border rural crime operation, arresting two males for possessing criminal property, money laundering, handling stolen goods and abstracting electricity.
