Several animals injured in cattle truck crash on Erskine Bridge

The truck was carrying livestock when it crashed on the A82 westbound on-slip at the Erskine Bridge on the afternoon of Sunday 1st October prompting an emergency response to the scene.

Officers closed the area to carry out investigations and it was reopened on Monday.

Reports on social media claim that several animals were injured in the incident, but the force has remained tight-lipped on this.
