Powys: Police appeal following burglaries and thefts in Elan Valley

POLICE in Powys are appealing for information following a series of burglaries and vehicle thefts in the Elan Valley overnight between Sunday and Monday (July 3 and 4).

Dyfed-Powys Police's Rural Crime Team say they have already recovered some items, including a minibus, Land Rover, quad and scrambler, which were taken from the Rhayader area.

But they are also appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anything during the night.

They said via Twitter: "** BURGLARY ** Elan Valley, Rhayader.

"A series of burglaries and vehicle theft offences took place during the night (04/07).

"We have recovered some items: Minibus, Landrover, Quad & Scrambler.
