Police have launched an appeal after an injured deer was taken in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police's Wildlife & Rural Crime Team often posts daily updates on its Facebook page as to the crimes it has recorded.

A post from the morning of February 25th said officers had dealt with 17 reports involving animals over the past 24 hours.

This included an injured deer being taken without consent in the BD9 area of the city - which covers places such as Frizinghall, Heaton, Daisy Hill, parts of Shipley, and parts of Manningham.

Police would like to speak to anyone who has information about this.
