OpSeabird – Ceredigion Rural Crime Team joins forces with Neighbourhood Policing for coastal patrols

In a significant collaborative effort, the Ceredigion Rural Crime Team has teamed up with the North Ceredigion Neighbourhood Policing team to bolster patrolling efforts along the picturesque coastlines around Aberystwyth and Ynyslas. This partnership aims to enhance safety and promote environmental awareness in the region, particularly in relation to the sea life and bird population residing along the coastline and in small coves.

Dubbed as #OpSeabird, this joint operation seeks to create a harmonious coexistence between visitors to the area and the fragile ecosystem that makes the Ceredigion coast so unique. With a focus on responsible tourism and wildlife preservation, the initiative is set to offer valuable insights and guidance to visitors about the diverse marine life and bird species that call this coastal paradise home.
