Operation Yellowfin continues to target criminals who are stealing motorbikes and using them to commit crime and anti-social behaviour.
We remain resolute in efforts to bring bike thieves and those who ride bikes in an antisocial way to justice.
Op Yellowfin is a Force-wide operation to tackle the crime associated with motorbikes and off-road bikes.
Speaking about recent action in North Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Policing Superintendent Paul French said, “We continue to see some really positive results in 2022 as we continue from our work over the past couple of years.
“As the weather starts to improve, evidence would suggest we will start to see an increase again in motorcycle related theft and antisocial behaviour across North and North East Lincolnshire. We would continue to appeal to our communities to report anything they see to us – for example where are motorcycles being used in this way, where are they being stored. We are really grateful to the public for helping us to identify suspects so that we can act on their information, recover the motorcycles involved and hold those responsible to account.
