THE theft of more than 250 sheep from land in Powys is being investigated by police.

The breeding ewes were stolen from an area known as Llysdinam common hill, Newbridge-on-Wye, near Builth Wells. One problem might have is that the sheep have gone missing sometime between the summer of 2021 and January this year!

“We are investigating the theft of over 250 breeding ewes,” tweeted Dyfed Powys Police’s Rural Crime Team on Monday (March 21).

“Stolen from Llysdinam common hill, Newbridge-on-Wye area in Radnorshire, between summer 2021 and January 2022. Anyone with information please contact us.”
