Firefighters were called to the rescue of a massive horse who had fallen over and got stuck in mud.
North Yorkshire Fire Service's animal rescue crew from Scarborough and Malton were sent to help the horse who had fallen in his field at Hutton Buscel, Scarborough on Saturday lunchtime.
He had been on the ground for five hours as despite the best efforts of his owner and a local vet, his huge size and weight made it impossible to get him upright in the muddy gateway.
When the animal rescue crew arrived they were able to get the animal safely back on his hooves with the help of a telehandler vehicle.
The horse, called Jubilee, was given the name as he was born on the Queen's Golden Jubilee 20-years-ago.
