Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce has appealed for witnesses to the fire in Wroxton near Banbury on Wednesday August 16 around 3:20pm.

A section of the field on Horley Path Road was left scorched and blackened, pictures from the scene show.

A police spokesperson said: “Please call us on 101 quoting reference 43230366683 if you have any information."
