Dyfed-Powys Police have issued a warning to pet owners after another case of dog worrying.

The latest incident took place in the Ystradgynlais area and left two sheep badly mauled.

Police say the animal that caused the injuries has yet to be found.

DPP's rural crime team have warned dog owners to keep their pets on a lead near livestock to keep them safe.

In a social media post Dyfed Powys Police cited the Protection of Livestock Act 1953 and said “if a dog worries livestock on any agricultural land, the owner of the dog shall be guilty of an offence".
