The PSNI are investigating a report of suspected poaching after a deer carcass was found in Co Tyrone over the weekend.

The animal’s remains were discovered in a field on Kirlish Road in Drumquin.

Deer are protected by law within the Wildlife (Northern Ireland) Order 1985.

The report of suspected deer poaching was made to police around 4.15pm on Sunday 29th October

Two men were reportedly seen in the area where the carcass was found.
