Gloucestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Chris Nelson said the farming community is facing 'fear and intimidation' from organised criminals
Gloucestershire Police has collaborated with a vehicle tracking service to tackle the scourge of agricultural machinery theft in farming communities. They have joined forces with AX Track, which works with insurers to locate stolen vehicles.
"As a result, farming communities are facing fear and intimidation from groups of criminals." Neil Thomas, director of investigative services at AX Track, said the initiative would help make a 'real contribution' to reducing rural theft in Gloucestershire.
