The vehicle was at Cookshold Lane in Sherburn, Durham at approximately 7pm last night (Saturday, November 5), leading residents to believe someone had taken Bonfire Night a bit too seriously.

A resident of Sherburn, Andrei Lespezeanu, noticed a fire engine from his house and went to investigate.

The incident caused much confusion on social media, when Andrei posted pictures of the car in the group Sherburn Village and Sherburn Hill Notice Board.
