‘Idiots on bikes’ churn up grass and leave cars splattered with mud in Teesside village

"Idiots on bikes" have left cars covered in mud after churning up a grassed area in a Teesside village.

The off-road bikers left deep grooves in the grass on The Green, Norton. Now residents have been left furious as the yobs tore up the area and left damage in their wake at around midnight.

The innocent car owners were left with cleaning up jobs after their vehicles were splattered with mud on Thursday. Images posted on social media show a silver Mercedes, which was parked on the roadside, covered in mud.
